Nick Pokia - Golden Glove
Congratulations to Nick Pokia
Our Club has just hosted a very successful 14U tournament on behalf of QLD School Sport. Despite the rain, we were still able to hold a final with South Coast taking the gold from Met North (with a number of Demons players in the team). Sunshine Coast were 4th but unable to play the final for outright 3rd.
Our own Nick Pokia, playing for Met North, took out the prestigious Golden Glove Award for his performance behind the plate and was selected in the QLD Team to tour Sydney in early October - CONGRATULATIONS NICK!
